Pittcon to Participate in International Year of Chemistry (IYC)
22 Jun 2010: Extra activities to celebrate the International Year of Chemistry (IYC) at Pittcon 2011 have been announced. The extra programs include Science Week, which will serve the city of Atlanta and surrounding autoclaves-/-sterilizers, and on a more global level, and the Technical Program, which will include sessions on how chemical research is critical for solving global problems involving food, water, health, energy and transportation.

Pittcon Recognizes Scientists from Academia & Industry for Their Achievements
10 Nov 2009: Pittcon is pleased to announce the recipients of ten prestigious awards recognizing the significant contributions of leaders in the fields of Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy. The awards will be presented at Pittcon 2010, February 28 to March 5, 2010.

Pittcon 2010 Announces Conferee Networking Topics
29 Oct 2009: The Pittcon Networking Committee is pleased to announce the topics for the Conferee Networking Sessions for Pittcon 2010 from March 1 through March 4, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. These Sessions are a unique networking opportunity for registered conferees with similar interests to get together in an informal setting to brainstorm and share ideas.

Pittcon Announces 2010 Technical Program
15 Oct 2009: The 2010 Technical Program listing of sessions is now available on the Pittcon website. The Technical Program begins on Sunday, February 28 and closes on Thursday, March 4, 2010 and will consist of 62 Symposia, 28 Organized Contributed Sessions, 120 Oral Sessions, 8 Workshops, 45 Conferee Networking Sessions, and 88 Poster Sessions.

Pittcon 2010 Registration is Open
29 Sep 2009: The Pittcon Registration Committee is pleased to announce that conferee advanced registration is now open for Pittcon 2010, which will be held February 28 - March 5, 2010, in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).

Alan G. Marshall to Deliver Plenary Lecture at Pittcon 2010
21 Aug 2009: Pittcon is pleased to present Alan G. Marshall, Kasha Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Florida State University, and Director of the Ion Cyclotron Resonance Program at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, as the 2010 plenary speaker. Dr. Marshall will deliver "The Role of High-End Instrumentation" during the Opening Session on March 1, at Pittcon 2010.

Pittcon Announces Co-Programming for the 2010 Technical Program
16 Jul 2009: The Pittcon Program Committee is pleased to announce the expansion of its co-programming sessions for the 2010 Technical Program. For the first time, the Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) has formed an education-based collaboration with Pittcon which will focus on student research involving unique and compelling laboratory automation.

 05 Jun 2008: The Pittsburgh Conference announces the launch of its 2009 website, containing relevant information for conferees and exhibitors about Pittcon 2009 which will be in Chicago, Illinois, McCormick Place, March 8-13, 2009. The 2009 Pittcon website will be integral to the organization’s continuing plan of enhancing environmental awareness and going "green."
